Chicken Pesto Bake

Ingredients:

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 c. pesto (I used store-bought)
  • 2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 c. cherry tomatoes, halved
  • fresh basil, chopped, to taste

Preheat oven to 375* F. Grease 9″ x 13″ baking dish.

Mix cream cheese and pesto until it forms a smooth spread.

Lay chicken breasts in the baking dish and then spread the pesto mixture over the tops of the chicken breasts.

Top with mozzarella cheese.

Bake uncovered for 35 minutes. (If you temp your chicken, it needs to be at least 165*F).

Garnish with tomatoes and fresh basil.
