White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. white chocolate chips
  • 1 c. macadamia nuts
  • 1/4 c. white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. Heath bits

1. Preheat oven to 350. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

2. Cut cold butter into cubes. Beat until soft.

3. Add brown sugar and granulated sugar. Mix.

4. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix.

5. Add flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix.

6. Add in 1 c. white chocolate chips and 1 c. chopped macadamia nuts.

7. Place in 4.5 oz. balls on baking sheet (four per sheet). Press down lightly.

8. Bake for 13 minutes. 

9. Place pan on cooling rack. Cool for 13 minutes.

10. Transfer cookies directly on to cooling rack. Cool for additional 13 minutes.

11. Melt 1/4 c. white chocolate chips. Drizzle over cookies.

12. Sprinkle cookies with Heath toffee bits.
